Description:
Earth4Energy is a downloadable instruction and resource manual
which aims to guide the user through the
process of building a domestic, pollution free, solar and
wind based power supply using materials commonly
available.
It claims to enable you to build a small domestic supply system
with parts sourced from eBay and general hardware outlets for
under $200.

What’s inside:
The manual consists of approximately 73 pages of text, diagrams
and photos which are pretty easy to follow and the text
instructions don’t go into too much technical jargon which is a
welcome relief for the DIY builder and makes them easy to
follow and understand.
It covers the basics of how solar panels and wind turbines work
which gives the reader a good overall understanding of the
fundamentals and provides a sound basis for following through
with the build process.
It also has more comprehensive circuit and assembly diagrams so
users with a higher level of ability can fast track through a
lot of the ‘baby steps’ geared towards the DIY
user.
The manual also covers area’s specific to sourcing the
materials required on eBay and items to look out for such as
completed solar panels which have been salvaged from industrial
applications etc. thus making the build process quicker and
more straight forward. The design of the system is such that it
can be duplicated easily in order to scale up the entire system
to suit larger applications and power
requirements.
There is also a section on other areas of alternative power
sources such as bio fuels and hydro electricity although these
are not the main focus of this product and as such are not
discussed in as much detail.
Benefits:
The finished system aims to provide at least a supplementary
power supply to your existing one or even, if appropriately
scaled, a totally independent power supply.
The main benefits to this being a reduction or elimination of
your monthly power utility bill and a pollution free power
source.
Opinion:
I haven’t yet begun to assemble my project but I am in the
process of sourcing the necessary equipment mainly through
eBay. I have so far spent $176 and it looks like I might go a
little over the $200 budget although this could be put down to
bidding a little higher than I should have on a couple of the
items. I have, however spoken to someone who sourced everything
for $192. All in all though I should get out for not much over
$200.
I like the format of the manual as it makes it easy to follow
for DIY builders and the graphics and diagrams are easy to
understand
Verdict:
I would strongly recommend this particular product for the DIY
builder as it covers just enough detail to allow you to
confidently build the system without weighing you down with
unnecessary technical detail.
I also like the 60-day money back guarantee
